SkillsDMC is one of eleven national Industry Skills Councils funded by the Federal Government through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).
SkillsDMC is the nationally recognised advisory body on the skills and workforce development needs of the Resources and Infrastructure sectors. We cover the Coal Mining, Metalliferous Mining, Quarrying (Extractive), Drilling and Civil Infrastructure industries.
SkillsDMC is a not for profit organisation, recognised by the Federal, State and Territory Governments as the organisation responsible for the national competency recognition system (Training Packages) covering our industry sectors.
SkillsDMC consists of a group of senior industry people – our Board and Members – who come together to direct the activities of SkillsDMC, which is the trading name of the Resources and Infrastructure Industry Skills Council.
