The current scope of the Civil Construction Plant Operations does not take into account the new infrastructure requirements of building new Mine infrastructure, such as tailing dams, coffey dams, road and process pads around Mining sites. Contractors in this game need to be able to deem competency on all plant, and the mandatory units are Certifcate Two (14) of them and only 3-4 of them are actually used in this type of work. The package needs to be more flexible and users need to be able to select more of the title ie Plant Operations than currently allowed. Once approved for viewing I will add a document for further comment and review - this has been developed in consultation with five moderately sized earth moving groups.
